Hoist Servicing

Capricorn offers certified servicing of chain motors used in the entertainment industry. All work will be carried out at our warehouse just outside of Melbourne, by experienced technicians.

The service we provide identifies any wear or faults in the chain motor that can affect the safety or performance of the equipment.

Service includes:

Visual examination of all mechanical and electrical components for signs of wear or damage.
Slip clutch testing using calibrated equipment
Inspection and load testing of hoist brakes.
Verification and adjustment of upper and lower limit switches.
Complete itemised report on chain hoist condition
Repairs as needed or if requested.
